1. What Mya is
Mya is a personal assistant with artificial intelligence that notes, organises and reminds: agenda, tasks, lists, notes, contacts, timetables. You type or dictate, and she records it. It works in the browser, on computer and phone, and can be installed as an app.
2. Account
- You need a valid email (or a Google account) and to be at least 18 years old.
- The account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account.
- You can delete the account at any time in the app's settings.
3. Plans, prices and payment
- When you create an account you get 14 days of Mya Pro for free, no card needed. At the end, if you don't subscribe, the account moves to the limits of the Basic plan.
- Current plans and prices, VAT included: Mya Basic €4.99/month or €39/year; Mya Pro €9.99/month or €89/year. Prices may be updated; any change is announced at least 30 days in advance and only applies at the next renewal.
- The subscription renews automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in settings; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. There is no minimum term.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. An invoice is issued with the details you provide in settings.
- Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you may withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, with a refund, unless you started using the paid service during that period and expressly agreed to it.
4. Usage limits
Each plan includes a number of messages to Mya per month (200 on Basic, 600 on Pro) and, on Pro, 60 images per month, plus a daily limit that protects your account from abnormal use. When the limit is reached, the conversation with Mya pauses until the next month, but you can still see and edit everything by hand, without limit. You can change plan at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Mya for illegal purposes, to send unlawful content, to try to access other people's data, to overload or attack the service, or to resell access. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, notifying you whenever possible.
6. The artificial intelligence can make mistakes
Mya uses artificial intelligence models to understand what you write and what is in images. She does her best, but may misread a time, a date or a name. She always shows you what she noted and gives you an "Undo" button. Double-check anything important, especially deadlines, appointments and payments. Mya does not give medical, legal or financial advice.
7. Your data is yours
Everything you note remains yours. We only use your data to provide the service, under the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it whenever you want.
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Mya always available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for causes beyond our control (hosting, authentication or artificial intelligence providers). We are not liable for indirect losses arising from unavailability or from a misreading by Mya; our liability is limited, in any case, to the amount paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.
9. Changes to the service and to the terms
Mya will evolve: we may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms in a relevant way, we will notify you in advance by email or in the app. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
10. Governing law and complaints
Portuguese law applies. For any question write to us first at ola@myapersonal.com. In case of a consumer dispute you may use the Electronic Complaints Book, an alternative dispute resolution body (list at consumidor.gov.pt) or the EU online dispute resolution platform. Venue: the courts of Faro, without prejudice to the consumer's own venue.
